I am absolutely loving my newly purchased deck, Tarot of the Divine: A Deck and Guidebook Inspired by Deities, Folklore, and Fairy Tales from Around the World and its companion book, Beneath the Moon: Fairy Tales, Myths, and Divine Stories from Around the World. Not only is the artwork stunning and the cards easy to hold (as some decks are very large in the hand), but having a summary of the artwork’s origin stories makes daily card readings even more insightful and delightful. I do wish the book had the full story for each myth, legend and tale, but a one-page summary is definitely enough to add background to the cards without feeling like a reading assignment from school.
